What process? This video is worthless! It doesn't show anything that you can't infer from looking at the finished fence. Con heart redwood? I live in NorCal where a bandbox sized house sells for $2M, and the only time you see Con Heart in a fence is for $7m+ houses.

The New Zealand Manuka does not come as a ruby colour.The New zealand Manuka only comes in white colour.Also the nectar from that grown in new zealand is quite different from Manuka grown inother countries like in the US.Manuka Honey with MGO is only unique to New zealand.This is really fascinating.

I have been searching for YEARS for this favorite of mine back in 2003, but I could never remember the name, or what terms to google. Finally I saw "ornamental grass" in a different google search and - low and behold - there it was. Recently re-classified under Genus Oenothera lindheimeri. I love 'Siskiyou Pink' !

Very helpful video. I am getting ready to add a few ornamental grasses to a new garden area and a few you covered were ones I have been considering.

Although I agree that it is difficult to control, I don’t want to part with it. I cut it back after the first blooming phase and then it will bloom again. I dig it out of areas where I don’t want it any longer which seems to work just fine. There is a pretty white variety as well.

I discovered this gorgeous plant in a nursery that I hardly ever go to about 5 years ago. The blooms are such a deep purple, the leaves have the texture of Lamb’s Ear on woody stems. I found it easy to grow and I always look for it in a nice nursery. Love it ❤

I had the same experience: was great for first two years. I think that I should have cut out the original plants after three years and let it just fill spaces with seeded plants. It's great at being transplanted though: when pulling a plant out, break off the young growth and poke that back in the ground in the same spot or a new spot. It almost all takes off from there.

I made the mistake of watering my double viburnum too much & killed it. Planted a new one with lots of room to grow, I’m sure my birds will appreciate that I planted them a new one.

I am growing Miners Merlot but I wasn’t sure the fall if I should cut it back or not. Now we’re an early spring. It has several snapped branches, but it looks like it has new growth right on the Tips. I’m not sure if I should cut it back and if so, how far? I’m thinking it’s closest in nature to the blackbirdwhich you cut all the way down to the ground but I know you did this in fall not early spring. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
